gas smell in cab

Came home yesterday from a 120 miles on a very rough logging road. This was the trucks first and last gravel road ride. It is a 06 with a Triton Engine with only 10K miles. Just before the trip was over I had the very strong smell of gasoline in the cab. It happened twice in about ten minutes. I took the truck to a car wash and cleaned it well. Checked under the hood with the engine running and also under the truck for a gas leak, but found nothing???? KEN

Charcoal cannister

Check your charcoal exhaust fume recycler...if your truck was under a load long enough you may have overloaded the charcoal filter. I would be surprised if that is it, but its worth checking...if its under warranty let Ford do it!
