Top 5 power mods

Can you guys list the top five power mods that are under $400 bucks.

Things like tuners, exhaust, intake, throttle body, MAF

In order in HP gains would be sweet to.

Thanks so much!!

You named the mods , more specific -

Intake - They say the AF1 is the best , but if it's not a cold air intake , I disagree. I haven't seen a AF1 cold air intake yet. So I'll go with the Volent Cold air system .

Exhaust - Maganflow is the most popular, that's what I run. I wouldn't shy away from a Borla system, any of those two you'll net the best performance and even MPG's..

Tunner - The XCAL 2 hands down..

I wouldn't touch the MAF yet..Not unless you install longtubes, high flows or get some head work done..Then think about the MAF and injector upgrades..

hey j-brew, how does the magnaflow sound? right now i have a flowmaster and love the sound i get from it, but almost everyone on here says to go magnaflow or borla and from the flow-bench results, i can see why. what is your opinion on the sound from one of those?

I have the SISO 24" (BIG one). At first it was quiet unless I got on it and torquey as hell - great sound.

Now I got rid of my rear cats and it mimics a GT taking off normally, but I lost some torque I think , hard to tell..

WFO - Burnout's sounds like your down at the strip with this 5four

Yea, with Flowmaster you loose to much torque and you get more drone inside the cab..

do you think it would be worth the money to go to that from a flowmaster?

Yes, I had a Flowmaster 50 series before this cat back. It didn't sound that bad in comparison. I noticed that the truck felt lighter and snappier when I switched , a more defined sound to it.

What I mean is that the Flowmaster might be mistaken for a stock unit with a hole in it..
