Do a search Dude and you will find all kinds of info ref E fans. A good kit will cost you from 3 to 5 bills. Expensive but I think worth it. Increase in HP and MPG plus much colder A/C.

Added a Flex a lite kit to my 03 Expedition, 4.6l. I had to fabricate brackets as they don't make a kit specifically for the Ex. Took a long time. I also located the controler inside the cab, up behind the glove box to keep it out of the tough environment of the engine bay. That required longer wire of a heavier gage, but the wiring diagram was still the same.

Results - immediate improvement in HP and mpg and throttle response. Not sure how much HP, but the truck is much faster off the line. MPG went up 1-1.5. Truck is silent when fans are not running. the kit, # 295 has 2 13.5" fans for a total flow of 4600 cfm. I can hear them if I am sitting still, but just barely.

Overall I'm very pleased. I added them to a cold air intake and custum tune on an Xcal2 from Troyer (site supporter). Makes the Expedition much more pleasant to drive. I would NEVER go back to the stock program.

Many guys here do their own kit and save a bunch of money. But my knowledge of relays and electronics precluded me from doing the budget fan route. The FAL kit is very well built - solid housing, heavy fans.

I'm sure they have a kit for the f150 you have. Give them a call.

Put it this way, GM is using efans stock, in their SUV's - better mpgs, quieter, more HP. Ford should be doing this off the get-go.

I did an electric fan setup in my truck a few weeks ago and everything is pretty straight forward. Ive done alot of wiring before but if you get the controller than its pretty easy to figure out. I ended up doing a custom setup with a 16" and a 14" fan and i love it, works great so far.
