I have a 99 f-150 with the 4.6 engine in it with 250,000 miles on it. I pulled the codes today and got p0304. Which is cyl 4 misfire and which would probably explain the power loss. But it also came up with p0133. The book says that the O2 sensor - bank 1 sensor 1. Which of the 4 O2 sensors is that exactly? It also had p1450 but that code isn't in my book. But i guess that not able to bleed fuel tank vaccum. Is there anything i can easily and quickly check for that and is it anything to worry about?


Then we have a 2000 ford taurus. It had code p0401 which is egr flow insufficient. Would that be the cause of why it would lose power occasionly? We changed the fuel filter but that never improved it. Then we changed the tranny filter and fluid and that has made it better for now. But if the egr is the problem are they worth cleaning out or just replace it with a new one the first time?
