Hey 808, by all means the K&N intake will make some difference, but throw that tornado thing in the garbage.. 'cause that's what it is..

ive got the same engine as you do. just put on the intake, and send that paper weight back where you got it from.

actually the tornado thing isn't garbage... at least while it's on the shelf... then after it's bought and the person realizes that they're retarded and wasted money on something that's about as useful as oil in the gas tank then it goes into the garbage and therefore, at that exact moment, becomes garbage.

I agree !!

Magnaflow, Borla, Gibson are just a few to look at, if yuh want the torque and more ponies..

BTW - get the cold air intake or you won't see that much gain if any after she warms up.

Because they're cheap and loud, qualities some folks seem to value above torque and mpg.

They're all good cat-backs, it's more a matter of how much sound you want.. the smaller the muffler size the louder the Magnaflow.. the smaller sizes seem to have more drone in the cab from what I've read, though they're louder out the pipes.

I went with Borla, Roush is another to consider.

Personally , I would gut the front cats and go with a good size SISO Magnaflow (24" catback) - if your not running headers and the motors close to stock.

PATMAN has the "cat gut" info link in his sig ..

Best thing you can do right now is head over to the exhaust section in Forums and read up on it. If you want to search , make sure to search that forum only for best results, ie-forum tools..
