There are two hoses that into and out of the heater core - engine to firewall. Check those. They are like spaghetti, so if you need to replace one, buy an exact duplicate part.

The AC drain is there and runs the residual water out an overflow tube , back a little further right side of your trans. Sure your not confusing that with a problem?

Heres a few below, notorious for leaks on that side ..

1. Heater hoses (as said)

2. Heater tube maybe leaking at the O-ring (I have a photo step by step for that fix) - The water will leach from that same spot - left side of motor.

3. Head gasket leak , rear corner left side (same spot as well)

Either one of those issues will direct the leaking water to that side of the motor.

Which of the three possible's - is your problem?

Behind the alternator, top of the block - check to see if the cavity is full of water . It will hold a certain amount in the knock sensor channel if it's the o-ring that is bad.

In the pic, those two water lines towards the top of the firewall are the heater core lines. They usually leak ate the bottom connector.

Behind the waterpump, there's a hardline(removed in this pic) that runs that knock sensor channle that feeds the heater core thru one of those hosers on the firewall (pictured).

This is where the O-rings are that leak - IF , that's the prob -

Heater core lines -

Like ONELOWF suggests - you need the exact part. The hoses pictured here have the correct bends but DO NOT include a thrust reducer. A brass thrust reducer protects your heater core from physical damage. IT'S NEEEDED.......... Ford has this incorperated into the supply line and you won't see/find it without knowing it's there.

Metal tube - slides over the O-rings on the waterpump stem. -

Huh , mine still leaks back there every once in awhile - It hasn't for about 4 months now, but it's the head gasket back by the water jacket.

I cleaned the sh^t out of it and put a little High heat Permatex around it for now as a temporary.

There's allot of stuff in the way and I doubt that you will be able to see where it's originating from very easily. You'll need to pull the plastic inner fender well and have a look. - You might have a leaky freeze plug as well.

When mine leaks it's wet on the head - from the back corner - 2" in towards the front. Also, my starter wires would get wet.

It would never puddle on the ground , but once in awhile I would see a green water drop forming on the wires getting ready to fall
