Help 98 4.6 f150

Ok I had this truck sence 98 I am in the navy so my brother used it most of the time. He tells me it has not been running right for about a year now I get here it starts fine idles fine but as soon as I press the accelator it starts to stutter then it goes accelrates slowly. I cant go over 30 cause it really starts to stutter real bad, even backfires everyonce in a while. Now I changed the spark plugs, wires and still had the same thing. Brother told me it also had the check engine light and It said the #4 and #7 was missfirng he clearded them so I don't know what codes it had. I also just changed the fuel filter and it was clogged. I just did a pressure test on the fuel pump at idle reads 30 and as I accelorate slowly it stays at a constent 30 doesn't go up or down only when I really give it gas does it jump up to around 40 put thats when it stutters. any help would be appricated. Sorry for spelling not the best.

Drive it around untell it throws a code (CEL) and then post it on here. Autozone will read them for free. Just dont buy anything without posting it here cuase most of the time they dont know anythng.

I would pull the IAC and clean it real well if it has any of the usual build up of gunk in it it could be sticking and I also would change the fuel filter and use some seafoam in it.
