i have a 96 f150 that im playing with im trying to decode which will be better a 347 stroker with 500+ hp or a cat c7 or a cumming or the 6.4 powerstroke. i work for the marine corp so i already know the ins and outs of the cat series and there realablity, but i want to know whichj would be cheaper to operate of theses choices and which would get me the performace im looking for and still have the capicity to tow whatever i need. gas mile is a huge deciding factor. thanks.

 

Go with a Cat C7 with a Allison automatic...

 

Diesel > Gas when towing.
