Service Bulletin 5915

Well you guys were right it wasn't the battery after all, the truck stalled again and threw out 7 codes all dealing with TPS.
what i don't get is, if FORD knows about this problem and puts out a service bulletin (ie5915) why don't they pay for the fix regardless of the truck being out of warranty ?

5915 is not a valid bulletin number in Ford's system. Maybe you're looking at an NHTSA number or something, I dunno.

And those bulletins are intended to be used by technicians. They're educated SWAGs from engineering, designed to streamline diagnosis and attempt a fix on a vehicle as quickly as possible. They aren't guaranteed to work.

I dunno either

hmmmmm..... well thats what the shop told me, I asked for the service Bulletin #, specifically for the purpose of posting it here, I will ask again and see if i wrote it down wrong.
as for right now they are replacing the TPS and I think some wiring to it.
" They aren't guaranteed to work". has got me wanting to scream.

codes

Here are the codes it put out
P0104 MAF/VAF Circuit
P0121 TP Sensor A Circuit
P2104 TAC System, Forced Idle
P2106 TAC system, Forced LMT. Power
P2111 Throtle Activator Control System-Stk Open
P2112 Throttle Activator Control System-Stk Closed
P2135 THP/PDL Position Sensor/ Switch A/B

Not sure what this one is but here's the number
#4U7A-129650-AAD

The fix was to put in a TPS kit and Reprogram the the computer.

I certainly hope this does the trick
