Daydreaming an engine sawp (not the usual)

I don't have the time or money (isn't that always the case?) to do this swap right now, but I would LOVE to swap a cummins 4bt into my 01 Screw. I can not even begin to image all of the things involved with a swap like this, mounts, transmission, transfer case etc. If ever I'm in a position to do it I'm going to go for it though. Ideally I could just pull the 4.6 and swap in the cummins and go, but nothing, NOTHING is ever that simple, and it's the challenge that makes it cool anyway.

Anyone ever do something like this? I've found a thread on another site where a guy did it in a mid 90's 150, but not much else. Guys on pirate4x4 have swapped them into everything from jeeps to K5's to M37's with great success.

if you start with a manual trans truck, it should not be too difficult. just have to find the right bellhousing to fit whatever trans you use, but i don't think the stock one will hold, so an nv 4500 should work

There were no Manual trans Super Crews so I would have to swap the pedal assembly from another vehicle. A baby Allison transmission would be nice. I'd need new drive shafts though.

The kicker of the whole deal...I want my AC to work. Yes I'm spoiled.
