hi everyone. im new to this forum but been a gearhead since i was 12, which has been longer than i care to admit:) .
what issues would i run into swapping a 5.0 from a 1995 f150 into a 1992 f150 that already has a 5.0?

None, unless the '95 is a MAF engine. In any case, swapping the long block would be straightforward. The '92 accessories, intake, & exhaust will go right onto the '95 block, & then you won't run into any wiring or plumbing issues.

MAF was first offered on some '94 5.0Ls. Their wiring is VERY different, & they have different sensors. I wouldn't worry about getting the '95 harness - all you need is the long block.

You might have to swap intakes. The 95 engine is better. The engines in 95 were completly set up for roller rocker cam and all. The intakes might be different as said earlier the MAF was added but if you swap intake ithe 92 engine should work. I'd rebuild the 95 motor if it were me. Those engines can be rebuilt for less then 2 grand usually.

Firing orders are different - the 95 uses the H.O firing order.
