stutter and a light???

two nights ago, i was driving to my folk's house to visit for a while, when i decided to see how the truck did as it approached higher speeds. granted i know i was speeding and it is againdt the law, but... one time when i hammered down my engine light started flashing, and felt like the truck wasnt running on all cylinders. it only happened once but still if anybody knows why this happened or how to prevent it... other than not going that fast, please let me know.

the light flashed for only about a minute. then it went off. it didnt feel like it was going to die or anything like that, just as i was giving it gas, it wasnt a smooth acceleration, and had almost no power.

Flashing engine light=misfire.

Is there any time lately you could have gotten water in the engine compartment?

not at all, actually the times it has rained i havent even fired the thing up. but i took it to 99.5 or 99.7 according to gps, about 8 or 9 times, and it only did it once. i dont know, but it felt like i THINK it would have felt if it wasnt running on all cylnders. i am getting a custome tune. will that help? do i need to change plugs and such? or was it a one time thing?
