Question Need help with code

This morning I was driving to work and when ever I had to decelerate or come to a stop, when the rpm reached idle speed the truck would shut off. It does this consistantly. I pulled the codes and got a P0104. Does anyone know what this is?

Sorry, left out it is an 04 F150 SCREW

P0104 MAF Circuit Intermittent -

Your shorting out , check the connector wires - then scope out the MAF wires inside the intake..

Thank you JBREW. It just so happens I just cleaned the filter so chances are it could be oil from the filter. I have 75000 miles and I put the AirRaid on first month I had it. I have not had one single issue until now so thanks again for the reply. If it works I will post.

Yep - that happends allot and it's prolly what's going on..

Yea , post back

BTW , You'll need to diconnect the battery to reboot your PCM , re-meter the air and reset fuel trims right.

Might as well do that before you start to work on her . Reconnect the positive cable first when your done...

It worked! For now. No more codes. I suspect though that because of the amount of oil in the filter it is bound to happen again soon. I cleaned the MAF here at work because we had the electro cleaner. I will wash the filter and re-oil, lightly this time, when I get home. Thanks again for the help. You rock.

Yea , they say in most cases you can go a year without cleaning under normal conditions - Only if your sucking the air from the port in the side of the fender - only CIA's ..
