Oh Brother

Well mines not running well - not until Friday after the FED-EX drops my new cats off and then get them welded in.. I 'm catless right now - to loud and it doesn't sound right. It sounds like a GT with the front cats , but I was affraid one was plugged so I gutted the older ones..

Idunno lol, Usually if the Pickup Coil is bad - it quits and doesn't run again until it's fixed. I think it's prolly a wire short somewhere..

I would look around , theres allot of spots where the rub. Do you have a couple wires running down the front of your motor somewhere ? Look at those maybe..

You can start a thread , call it "96 just quits" and theres a guy (user name "Steve83" )who's really good with those models along with a few others as well. That's what I would do..

Look out that window, is there a little green bastard chewing off pieces?

Ok, not helpful, but what a great audience! Be sure to tip your waitress...

Yea, I remember that guy Klitch - That guy had an 03 blown expy. Took it to the dealer a few times - They even replaced the entire PD box under the hood and re-flashed the PCM .

Still he had the same problem, engine kept shutting down on him .

The dealership finally found the problem - It was a bare wire towards the back of the motor shorting out..
