I know it has probably been posted before but how does the
f150 compare to the hemi and the titan in rear wheel horsepower?

I just read something like this yesterday, cant remember what thread it was in.

04+ F150 RWHP is about 210
Hemi was 240 I think, and the Titan was around 260 if I remember correctly.

Numbers are most likely off a little, but I think they were right around there.

The Titan should RW dyno around the 280-286 range. The rated HP of 317 is EXTREMELY conservative and more around 350 at the crank. For most trucks figure a 19% loss in the drive train from crank to wheels.

I figured he would have better luck in the lighnings forum since lightning travels 360,000 MPH - stock.

Hard to believe it's only as thick as a pencil

at 19% loss than the F150 is 249.9FWHP hemi is 285.6fwhp and titan is 309.4fwhp
but we all know the hemi is over rated by alot..

The Hemi is around 250 max at the rear, just something about their tranny. They just can't get the power to the ground like all the rest.

I think the 3V puts down more than 210, thats what the 2V 5.4 rated at 260 put down. The 3V is more like 230-240, but I'm not "too" sure about the 3V # though,

The old 2v's put down around 195 rwhp stock on a good day. Thats with a 2wd. I have yet to see any dyno numbers of a stock 3v in any form put down more than 215ish rwhp.

I wish the new ones were at 250 rwhp stock. Heck, most people are only making 245-250 rwhp with an exhaust, intake, and a tune.
