7 quarts = 4 quarts?

The 5w30 is a silent killer on these new motors. My Uncle works for a Ford shop, and from what the dealers state, if you use another weight oil, and it blows sky high, under warranty, then your just null and void. Those owners manual don't recommend things for nothing.

First round , sounds good !! I'm about a stones throw away from Hell , That's Hell Michigan . I've gone to Hell quite a few times and have even been sent there on a few occasions

Update
I've been checking the oil more often since I posted this with no noticable consumption. It's always full. I was pretty hard on the truck that time. 4 1000+ mile trips in less than a month and lots of city driving too. I know, I shouldn't have gone 5000 miles between changes but I was busy. Thanks for the replies. I think it's ok now though.
Has anyone ever taken one of these motors apart????
FYI even if you drain the oil on a 45deg. hill there will still be almost a full qt left in the motor. I pulled my 4.6 and you would not believe the amount of oil still in the motor when I was taking it apart.
You filled up the qt bottles full so 4 full bottles probably = 5 qts + 1 still in the motor gives you a total of 6. Now considering you did not get EVERY last drop of oil from the drain pan into the qt bottles there is some and unless you have a filter splitter and cut it open you will never fully drain the filter. So we are now up to what about 6.5 qts accounted for.
As for warranty being voided you could run 10w30 in a mod motor and unless they could PROVE that is what blew blew/locked up your motor then Ford has to pay for it.
I had a friend snap his left axle at the drag strip, we trailered his car to the dealership, 3 days later they called him to come get it, free of charge under warranty. Now he had aftermarket rims and tires on the car, street tires but none the less not OEM Ford parts. He also had FRPP 4.10's in the rear that were not installed by Ford.
Go look up the Magnuson Moss act.
And as for 5w30 killing motors I would love to see some documented cases on that one. I know pleanty of guys using 5w30 in a car spec'ed out for 5w20and they are drag racing them all the time. Hell I run 5w30 in my Mach, daily driven, turns high 11's at the track and has not had one single problem yet.
