I'd look in the phone book / ask a friend to recommend a custom shop to do it before I'd take it to a dealer for something like that. Pretty sure the ATL has to be full of custom truck shops.

Good Luck!!

You don't need a custom shop - any competent mechanic can do it.

I would just pay a shop 15 bucks to take the stock fan off. Its a giant PITA to remove. Your truck will be just fine driving home without a fan as long as you keep speeds above 25. And dont sit for more then about 2 minutes
Unless you really just dont want to do it, then yeah anyone that knows anything about cars/trucks should be able to do it.

Wait, you are going to take the stock fan(s) off and replace with electric. This will give you better cooling and lower water temps a bit hence keeping the block a bit cooler. This will add 15-20hp at the wheels? If that were the case then cars driving in the winter would have a minimum of 15-20 hp too? They may actually have a little more than when its 90deg out but thats due to the density of the air not the temp of the block. I don't get it.

It's the parasitic drag of the fan & clutch. Once you remove that chunk of metal.....voila 15-20 more hp. Now,you have to cool the engine, hence the e-fans.

WoW, that's a lot of hp being used up there. I've heard of 5-7hp never that much. That is a pretty cheap hp bump if its really that much.

5-7 is much more accurate then 15-20

and yes it can cool the water faster, and help with heat soaking after your turn the truck off. But it only cools the water in the radiator, so unless you do a cooler thermostat too, then you really arent cooling to a lower tempature...

WRONG....
The last thing you want to do is replace the stock 194 degree thermostat.
My truck makes peak power and torque @ 203 degrees. I picked up a modest 16 HP with Mikes efans on my truck (dyno proven HP too). My truck was and still is used for many of the products Mike endorses. You could even say that it is a Dyno Queen of sorts....
Leave that stock thermostat in there !!!!!!

16 peak hp at the wheels is fairly sig. What about torque? I need more power to pull loads not really accelerate off the line. Also, what is the cost on this option? (I guess I could just go to his site).
