hey guys i ordered a intake kit of ebay. it was 60$ so i said what that hell. its going together fine except for the vacumn hoses. the hose from the valve cover to the pipe goes on no prob. the other line from the throttle body that goes to that small black box and then elbows out into pipe that doesnt even come close to lining up?? can u forget about that or... will i get all kinds of CEL??and problems. its a 97 4.6 guess i got what i paid for huh?? thanx in advance

 

nevermind that last idiotic question of mine. i started her up and got about 3 feet before she stalled lol. ill have to rig something up.

 

Yeah , I don't have the black box type, I have the inline canister (3/4x3/4), your IAC is prolly on the right side .

Anyway, the two lines - 5/8 (bottom) , 3/4 (top) are dedicated to the IAC and breather. (IAC's on the top)

Just maintain the ID sizing and it will run right.

The bottom breather line connects to a 3/4 - 5/8" ellbow on top of the valve cover. The port in the valve cover is 3/4. The IAC maintains a 3/4 ID straight thru..
