Dumb Question

What's the PCV Hose and where is it on my Windsor 4.6L?

someone please help me with this? my Haynes manual doesn't help at all

If you are looking at the engine you will see a small elbow shaped valve in the left valve cover. Attached to it is a ridgid plastic hose that connects to a valve on the back of the throttle body. This elbow on the throttle body melts all the time and is a culprit of certain codes such as p0171 and p0174
