I would put in a T-stat anyway, been-there done-that, about fifty times, no bad head gaskets.

Couldn't hurt.

Not sure if this was covered yet , I read thru page one pretty quick. To properly bleed your system . The engine has to be run @ idle with the Degauss bottle cap removed and w/the system running @ max or you will be unsuccessful. Without doing this you'll get allot air and gurgling - usually after shut down once warm. I'll post the procedure if you don't have it already. Just ask.
