Guys I have a question. My buddy has a 5.4L 2004 Screw 4x4 and his shifter is on the steering column like all others. He wanted one of those big center consoles and I got one and it still has the console shifter on it. Now I was looking at that and it looks like there’s no real connection to the anything other than a connector. So I was wondering, could it possible be as simple as finding the right connection to get the console shifter to work? His truck is automatic. If this is a stupid question I apologize, but the way trucks are built today, I was just wondering.
