They are a complete waste of money. You gain exactly nothing. Do a search on here and plenty of other people will have said the same thing.

Imagination and Hype

The only reason I would get one would be to port in a couple holes and add NITRO to the mix - alone , they do nothing..They can sell them because legaly the theory behind is true - they bend and twist it terribly , in the end it does not work. DATA would be better than this post - I don't feel a need for DATA since so many here have tried it and witnessed failure.

Don't waste your money - if you want more power then ask how.

Just because they are still around doesn't mean they work. There will always be buyers who will fall for them.

Get things that actually have documented gains.

3.73's is a waste , sorry

Go with 4.10's - that's the best combo and it doesn't hurt your milage , infact in many cases it can improve it..

+1 on the Magnaflows - there simply the best for these trucks . Go with the cat back system..

From my other posts I have stated that I wanted 3.73s.
JBrew you say 4.10s. Do you have a lift? What kind of tires do you run. How do you drive? I am a fmaily guy/motor head and I love perfomrance, however if I wanted a race car, there would be a BMW M3 sitting in my driveway. I do want the truck to have more *****. 3.73 seemed like a good combo. If I can ask, how old are you? Not being a ****, just trying to ge the perspective of the person offering the advice. I am 30 and when I was 25 I wanted to play. And that was a great time in my life. Now I am a little more centered if you get my drift.
Thanks buddy.

I have the stock 3.53's. I've read allot about the gearing in these things and guys that went 3.73's always come back and say they wish they went with 4.10's.
I have the 9.75 rear gear where you prolly have the 8.8 - the taller gears give me all the torque I need to pull heavy.

That seems to be the general consensus.
I really appreciate the input there. I am pretty sure I have the 8.8 as it was standard I believe on the 4.6L. I am eager to see what the 4.10's will do.

My neighbor who is a bit into hot rodding explained via his personal experience that any gains from a TB spacer were to be had at the top end, but it actually reduced his 1/4 mile time. I do not know if the vehicle was tuned for that. I would inquire of Mr. Troyer as to his opinion of the setup as his company has the most documented proof of power gains via engine mods. Look for some dyno charts on your vehicle with TB spacers added.
