04 Heritage Cruise Control issues

Have a 04 Heritage, just lost use of my cruise control. The indicator light does not light, the pressure switch on the Breakfliud reservoir switches with the break petal engaged, horn works. Any inputs would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance...

Thanks Steve. I ran that diagnostic and the static test passed (after the SET/ACCEL button was pushed there was a slight delay, and the light came on) followed by 2 flashing lights. From what I can tell, it never made it to the step 4, doing the dynamic throttle pull. This may sound stupid, but what is the "BPP" and "CPP" that is part of the 2 flash error code? Thanks very much Steve, I appreciate it very much......jeff

BPP=Brake Pedal Position
CPP=Clutch " "

If the vehicle has an automatic transmission, it will have a jumper installed into the connector that would be plugged into the CPP switch that would be present on a manual-equipped vehicle.

Steve,

It is a automatic transimission. So could be brake pedal switch or something else in the cicuit. The BPP is determined by the break switch being activated? So it is either a opened or closed switch? Any ideas on sometype of schematic/drawings that I could access to? jeff
