I have no idea. I guess a tuner could show me the codes, I've been wanting to get one.

Auto Zone will read your codes for free if the lights on - is your check engine light on?

That's good , yeah , auto zone will bring a scanner out and plug in to retrieve the codes for you - this gets them business

When they do so , get the numbers from there scanner and write them down - they do not always cipher the numbers correctly . We do here , so report the numbers back here and we can tell you what needs to be done .

Thats your DPFE Sensor most likely . It's that rectangle box looking thing with the two rubber hoses plugging into the bottom of it. Check the condition of the hoses - if you disconnect make sure you hook them back up right.

Your DPFE may be plastic and black.

If the hoses check out , take it off and make sure the tubes leading into the sensor isn't plugged up.

If you decide that you need a new one , get it from a dealership , Ford updated the DPFE and the new ones can only be had at the dealerships as far as I know..

the guy at auto zone thought it was the egr valve, but I'll check the dpfe sensor. Thanks for the advice.
