knocking and pinging

there is no code or check engine light on but i,m getting a lot of pinging when i give it a little or alot of gas . i,ve cleaned the map and changed the plugs and pcv but not the hose but its still there any ideas

Did you get some bad gas? Try some STP or other fuel enhancement/drier in the tank and see what happens..........

Don't know what engine you have, but sounds like the COPs or coil pak/paks could be getting weak.

what year is the truck? I am expieriencing the same thing when i get on mine real hard... i have a 2004
