Condensation coming out of tailpipes

I have a 2002 F150 4.6L V8 60,000mi. It has been setting for a few days in the rain without being started. When we fired it up today it looked like it was blowing condensation/steam out of the tailpipes (Flowmaster 50 series SI/DO) for about a city block...then it was fine and didnt do it anymore today. Is this normal for these trucks? This is the first time it has really sat because I have a work truck now. Thanks.

perfectly normal. The main bi product of gasoline combustion is water. When warmed up you don't see it because it is saturated in the exhaust that comes out of the tail pipe because of the heat.

Thanks for the help....I was hoping it was normal. When the truck sets for long periods of time (1or 2 weeks at most)...should I start it every couple of days or will it be fine? Im asking because my parents use to park their Explorer for a month at a time and it seems like it has had several sensors and little things go bad. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

its never really good to let a vehicle sit around for to long. every few days start her up and drive around the block. keep all fluids circulating etc.. after 2 weeks your gas probably starting to go bad anyway.

No need to drive it around the block every few days. All you'll do is wear it out faster by not getting it good and hot to keep the moisture out of the engine. When you do drive it, go at least 20 miles.. preferably 30 miles. But letting it sit a couple of weeks won't hurt sensors or any thing else.
