oil filters

oil filters

hey guys hows everyone doing today i was just wandering what kind of oil filter everyone is running i have 2000 with a 5.4 and usually run a baldwin and now i am away from home and the baldwin isn't so available so i was also wandering wut it hurts to change brands of filters thanx

I was talking to Chris at Troyer Performance at onetime, and he recommended the K&N High Performance filter.

hey penny r u talking about the performance gold i think the one that fits the 5.4 is HP-2010 would that be the one that Chris from TP was talking about? thanx

Motorcraft, Fram, Quaker State, Purolator, Wix, don't make a bit of difference to me. It's like being picky on toilet paper, you see what happens to that I hope! Hell, I've seen an AC Delco one here and there, but chevy stuff in Fords is not uncommon, 350/350 in a Deuce coupe anyone?

I have the Amsoil EaO on my Expedition. It says it'll go for 25k miles, though I'll be changing it soon since I don't want to run the Mobile 1 oil for more than 5k miles.
Filter was like 23 dollars shipped (if I remember correctly). I had read somewhere they were good so I went for one.
