Two Codes 327 and 332, lousy EGR

So I'm getting codes 327 and 332. EGR valve pressure transducer/position sensor below minimum voltage and EGR valve opening not detected.

I tried searching several F150 forums for some way to test this stuff. I'm hoping someone out there might have some answers or even just tips or something to try. Right now I'm checking all my vacuum lines and making sure everything's plugged in the right places.

Thanks in advance for any help

okay... as for the 332... i'm pretty sure the fragile cracked in two places plastic hose may be the culprit. whose idea was it to use that stuff? there's another one attached to a double rubber plug thing which had a hairline crack and some red rubber coupler holding it together which runs around the back of the engine and to the other side.

there's also another red one that looks to be in good condition on the other side of the engine. those three are going to be replaced with regular vacuum lines.

also, the electrical connector for the EVP Sensor wasn't on all the way, possibly causing the other problem. guess I'll get those hoses put on, hook the wire back in snugly then cut my + battery cable and resolder it to reset the computer (or pull out that 5A fuse somewhere under the dash)

edit: btw, i wouldn't really cut the +battery cable

Might be a good move to get some electrical parts cleaner spray, and give all the questionable looking connections a good blast with it. CRC makes a good spray cleaner, available at most auto stores. It cleans and removes corrosion, but also dries to a conductive gel that ensures it doesn't get dirty again.

i broke the tip of the hose that goes into the EGR off (on purpose) and got a piece of rubber tubing from the back of the truck and stuck it on there, didn't even have to disconnect anything and the check engine light didn't turn on again. (still plan on replacing the plastic tubes, but it'll pass inspection now)

as for the CRC stuff, I'll probably go ahead and do that. would it get rid of battery acid on the + terminal or should i just clean that the old fashioned way with some coke and steel wool?
