2005 4.6 V8 engine

First of all please don't hate me for posting this if it has already been answered somewhere else. I haven't found the answer to my question yet. I have, as you see above, a 2005 F150 with the 4.6 V8 engine. Will I have as much trouble changing my spark plugs as a lot of people are having with the 5.4 engine? If so, I guess I just follow the same guidelines everyone has posted about the 5.4 removal? Also, when I replace my plugs what would you all recommend? I think, since I only have 35,000 miles on my truck, that I will just clean them and put anti-seeze on them before I re-install them. Is this safe or should I just go ahead and replace them while I am pulling them? Oh and will I need to get the spark plug tool to remove or will a standard plug socket work?
Thanks so much in advance for any advice.

I had absolutely zero problems pulling the spark plugs out of my 05 4.6L. The motor had roughly 38k on it when I did it. No need to pre-soak the plugs in any kind of penetrant oil, just make sure the motor is warm (not hot) before pulling, makes life mucho easier. I think it took me all of 2 hours (and i replaced the coil boots and springs too). No need for any special pulling tools, just a normal 5/8 spark plug socket, some extensions, and a universal. Best of luck to ya.

Thanks so much for the quick response. I will probably change them within the week. That's a huge relief.

FOLLOW the Ford TSB!!! That's a 9/16 plug wrench for removal.

No no, that TSB applies to the new 5.4L motors. Look at his engine size....its a 4.6L, not a 5.4. The 4.6L motors use a 5/8 spark plug socket for plug removal.
