Question temp. guage not working after having clutch replaced (not done by a cert. mechanic)

I just had my clutch replaced (1993 toyota paseo 5 speed ) and now my chek engine light is on and my temp. guage stopped working. my car doesnt seem to be gettin hot as far as i can tell. someone said it's most likely the wire that runs from the engine to the instrument panel ???????

Likely the mechanic disconnected some wires when dropping the tranny and forgot to re-connect them. Just get under there yourself and look for any dangling harness connectors or loose wires.

If not, drag it back to the mechanic and get him to fix it.
