I bought a 1998 F150 V8 Triton 4. something lol manual trans 130,000 miles for $4000. it has no leaks in the trans or engine. The ball joints have been replaced along withthe starter and ignition. Interior is in good condition and the body in excellent condition.In your opinion is this an ok deal on this truck?

At 130k make sure the front end has had all it's necessary repairs. A manual transmission seems nice for the 4.6L triton. I am sure it feels nice, dont do a lot of towing though. Additionally, you will want to check your spark plugs. Dont plan on reaching the back two unless you want to spend a few hours of your life getting them in and out without stripping them. $4000 seems decent if all is in check:
breaks
suspension
tires
tranny service

 

No I dont have a pic yet i pick it up today they are putting the final touches on it. But as soon as i get it i will post a pic, well........ after i cruise for a bit lol. Yeah i deffinitley will change the plugs hope the back ones dont go that tough. And i think everything else is in order. It also has new brakes and new tires.
