I have been using the it20's at .035 for a year or so, and they seem to work well with my coil packs. I have them out now and they look just about perfect as far as color of the electrodes is concerned. But I see a slight brown ring where a leak has ocurred between the insulator and plug body on one plug, so they are going in the trash. These are a 12 month / 12,000 mile plug anyway. A little pricey for a short life.

They were a nice tan to light brown. Pretty good I think.
Tell me your digital camera made those plugs look that color.

I have not tried them, but in my study I do remember in the spark plug section of 4.6- LITER FORD ENGINES book by SA design [pg.74/75] that they recommend changing the Denso every 12,000 miles in a high performance environment. Denso also has a hotter plug, the IT16 and three colder plugs than the IT20: the IT22,IT24, and IT27. In the book they recommend the IT20,22,24, and 27 for supercharged applications.

I looked at the article about plugs. I'm not sure I would have written it if I couldn't at least change all eight plugs.

If any body needs a set of unopened Denso It16s let me know.
I'm going to try the NGK TR6s which are the same heat range as the Denso It20's
