hey, all i am glad i came across the forum. ive got a 2004 fx4 with no mods yet, however, unless a catastrophe hits in the next 12 hours, i am having my front end lifted 3 inches tomorrow.

now to my question-for the past few months my check engine light would come on, followed by my fuel gauge failing. after restarting a few times, the fuel gauge will begin working again, but the engine light remains on. while the engine light is on, i notice a good bit of power/accel. loss. i add techron with every fillup, but this still occurs. any ideas of what to check before i dish out money to have it diagnosed?

 

Have the truck scanned for a diagnostic code and let us know what the number or numbers are.
