asked ALOT!!

I no this is asked alot but i just want to make sure. would a 2004 5.4 engine fit in a 97 f150 without any major mount mods

It'll fit, but the wiring and computer is damn near impossible to do.

You need to replace the gauge cluster as well.

if it is a 3valve, then you will have wiring issues. if it is a two valve, no problem, use your stock coil packs and it will go just fine

The "extra super custom impossible wiring" would fix that.

2004+ is a 3 valve.... unless its out of a Heritage.

He's got an NPI motor in his 97.
Putting an entire 2-valve PI motor in would require a lot of rewiring...there are several threads on this. I hav considered it at one point myself, but it was more work than I wanted to invest.

Going to a 3-valve motor...I'd imagine would be even more work
