It seems that 2 Phil's think a like 8mpg when I drive in semi-city driving (55 mph with lights) but as I have stated before I don't get beat at lights unless its an antennae salesman. got 14.5 on the highway and I was extatic

I moved to AL from NM in April of 05. My 99 150 is about on par. 13-15. I did own a 95 Grand Marq. with a 4.6 and it got a finominal 32 MPG coming out here. best MPG I ever got out of a V8. It was constant in town 25.

Been getting 13-15 lately with winter blend fuel here in Colorado.

Summer I get from 15-20 depending on driving habits.

Im getting around 15 in my 5-4 2000, but that is with a lead foot. About 50/50 highway and city. My dad has 2003 5.4 super crew and he gets between 20 and 21 doing 60 - 65 back road driveing. He also deos not have a heavy right foot, though.

Best: 19.8 (highway with cruise set at 72 from Chicago to St. Louis)
Worst: 15.2 (winter, almost all in town, short trips)
Average: around 18

This is since I bought it last September and I've put about 6000 miles on it.

Same for me...my trucks needs a little TLC though, like cleaning MAF, some under the hood cleaning, etc. that may bring the mpg up a tad. I use my truck also-hard, I like to accelerate hard and cruise fast on the open highways out here.

We regularly see 13s in town, but if we keep our speed down around 60 mph on the highway, over 20 mpg is possible - but that means turning off the cruise control on the way up hills while backing off the throttle and coasting down the other side. On the flats it will do 22 mpg with dry conditions and no electrical loads.

Too bad we do so much short trip city driving that we never see anything over 14 for our overall average.

I filled up today and got about 17 on mine. Only took 8gal to fill it gas was cheap and I figured better fill up before it goes up again. That's the best so far this winter, normaly my winter mpg is around 13-14. Also it's 45 here in MN right now.
