blow off valve under my hood!

Well a funny thing happened this morning... I started my truck, got out to throw some trash away, and while i was walking back to my truck, it made the exact sound, pretty loud too, of a blow off valve, just the perfect little pshhewww sound. No idea what it was, but it didnt idle up or down, just kept on like nothing happened, kinda weird, any ideas?

Yeah that's what happens when you forget to replace the summer air in your tires with winter air.

I thought everybody new that

The only things I can think of,

AC compressor or line leak, radiator cap leak, or some vaccum part leaking

My truck makes that type of noise when I am driving and it shifts between first and second. It is coming from the driver's side. I think it is my EGR gasket leaking, since that is the last thing I changed on my truck and I used some of that gasket maker stuff instead of just buying a gasket.

Any neighbors cat's missing

Onetime a cat was up in the radiator and when the truck started it made one hell of a noise. The cat made it out alive but it was shaved in places I've never seen before
