Almost anything other than Motorcraft or Autolite is a crap shoot. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't.

I have almost 200,000 miles on my truck. I just changed my plugs for the second time. I can't tell a difference in mileage or power. I guess 100,000 miles isn't a sweat for motorcraft plugs. Should have left them in longer!

Just had #2 and #4 COP and plugs replaced today at a dealership and inquired about the the plug blow-out issue and was told that the main reason the plugs blow on the 5.4 is because F-150 owners use plugs other than motorcraft and you have to be careful if you do not use motorcraft to get a plug that has the same thermal values(does that sound right?)as the motorcraft plugs, if not the plugs can become loose and that is when the plugs blow, my service rep basically said bluntly-"Use motorcraft plugs"
