v-10??

Would a v-10 from a superduty fit in my f-150? I have the 4.6 with a 5 speed, i highly doubt it will but im just curious because i was offered one cheap. With my 218,xxx miles, i think i need to start looking for a motor.

yes it will fit, but there are more issues than just putting it in. the computer and harness will be the problem. it can be done, just hasn't been done yet

It probably is a good price for your area. I've seen Powerstrokes go for that price with a few more miles. Our cost of living is lower here. Check ebay motors!

1500 bucks sounds like a great deal if the engine is in good shape; I'd go for it!
Check what the going rates are for used parts at www.car-part.com!

Price sounds good, hell a used 4.0 cost me $575. All that really stands in your way is mainly the wiring nightmare, if your up for it go for it.

sounds like a good price to me, 1500 for the engine and tranny is better than the wrecking yards around here will let a 4.6/5.4 go for on its own. in some cases.
