a tuner and nitrous along with a gear ration change would make you a really strong truck

you could go to a 4.11 or even higher to a 4.60 but it depends on how you drive your truck? do you do alot of highway driving?

The first thing you want to do is get rid of those FlowBastids - there robbing you of power . The Troyer Performance site explains why in detail. I would use Magmaflows on that motor..

HI!... Get yourself a X-CAL2 tuner from MIKE TROYER at TROYER PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS, then twin electric fans, and a MAGNAFLOW cat back.

Definetely get yourself a tuner it will make a world of a difference. Either the edge or Troyer.

I was watching "trucks!" on Spike not too long ago and they installed an edge w/a nitrous tune and sprayed a 100 shot on a stock 5.4 3v, that would get you in the 14's anyhow, enough to beat most trucks and ricers. It was pretty cool as the Edge controller doubled as a nitrous controller!

Hi.

Too bad it's 'vapourware' - you can't buy one.

Agreed on the FartMasters. Lose 'em.

You could do better on the intake as well.

Best bang-for-buck = TP-tuned Xcal2, 93 octane (or if you are lucky like us Ontario dudes, 94) max perf tunes.

Cheers
Bubba
