V8 swap from V6

Question V8 swap from V6

I currently have a 98 F150 with the 4.2L. I wana put a 302 crate motor in it. Would anyone be able to tell me how hard that would be what i need etc. Or direct me to someone. Thanks

why not a 5.4? It would be much easier, as non of the electronics would work with a 5.0. do a search on here

Well honestly im looking for about 350/400 horses but ill be fine with 300. Now what would be the best with out spending an arm and a leg. And possibly turbocharging

buy a built 5.4 you can have well over 400hp

I appriciate the help. Weres my best bett to get one. And another for right now were can i get a rebuilt trans for my V6
