help speed control sensor

help speed control sensor

my speedometer quit working, abs light and check engine lights came on in my 99 f-250 supercab v-10 what do i do? I have replaced the speed sensor in the rear dif, plugged the scanner in and it wont seam to self test for some reason, still have all the same symtoms. Please help, thanks in advance. very frustrated

Get your codes read first. Without them, you can only guess an hope to get lucky.

Based solely on your syptoms, sounds like you lost your VSS function which, on your truck, is provided by the rear differential ABS sensor.

I agree. Sounds like at least one of the rear diff sensor's wires got clipped, or it's loaded with metal shavings, or it got damaged somehow.
