Engine swap

ok so heres the deal, i have a 97' f150 with the 4.6 4x4. basically i want more power because i love my ford. i was thinking swapin the 4.6 for a 5.4. i was wondering if any 5.4 would fit. i dont to do much mods but if i had to i would. also i was wondering if a lightning 5.4 supercharged engine would fit. also need some price estimates on a 5.4 engine. PLZ HELP!!

For the price of all the stuff you'll be doing, you could just buy a used lightning.

i think a stick needs to be posted. the title of the sticky should read, "IF YOU ARE EVEN REMOTELY CONSIDERING AN ENGINE SWAP, READ THIS POST" then maybe we would see less of these titles.
