Why do people think stuff like that up?
For one reason and one reason only, some fool will buy it and make them some money.

Do the Math

if you want to prove that the mileage and horsepower have increased I will write a test metho for you and do the statistical calculations and tests for significance. to give you a hint it will require 10 tanks of gas with out the fraudiantor and 10 tanks with the device while driving on a test loop under defined and controlled conditions

I couldn't help but notice there in no mention of gathering the data and analyzing the data on the flowblade website

for grins get a copy of Juran's Handbook of Quality Control and read the section about the students "t" test and tests for statistical significance. I would ask the FloBlade company if I could borrow their Quality Assurance Manager's copy. I would be willing to bet that they have never heard of the book.
