I was talking to Mike Troyer at his shop a while back.. he said that they tested different brands and Citgo and Sunoco had the highest BTU rattings.

Best I recall, he said that BP gas was one of the lowest.

He recommended Citgo, Sunoco, or Shell gasoline.

I've tried searching it on the internet.. got nothing really.

I get best mileage with shell here, but gas quality varies across the country even with the same brand.

I only burn Shell or Citgo per mikes recommendations, however I do burn from a station called Sphinx in sc that sells 95 octane when I drive through there

alot of these station's gas is hotter which leads to less gas mileage and big profits for them....because it's not cool'd enough at local refiners

Buy gas from Hugo Chavez? No thanks. You probably like Heinz ketchup too.

I use Shell and Chevron and have found both to perform very well compared to the other brands...

I use Kroger gas, I get better mileage out of it than I do with Keystop and Murphy USA Gas.
