2005+ Pcv

Anybody replaced the PCV on their 2005+ truck? I'm thinking that I'm getting blowby oil in mine, so I thought, what the hell, I'll just replace it. The dealer goes to look up the part number and discovers no such thing. Said it was incorportated in the valve cover.

Your owners manuel will tell you if there is one and the Ford number.
No one here even has one for an 02 F150 but the dealer.
NAPA, Auto Zone or Advance Auto does not even list one in their systems or books, as of Jan 6/07.

It should be the hose on the driver side of the engine, pretty sure you gotta get the entire hose and it's stupid easy to remove. The only thing incorporated in the valve cover is the steel PCV outlet that the hose clips to. The only thing I can think of is maybe he's looking up a 2 valve where it's a blue or brown PCV that turns and clips onto the cover, even still it's just a tube with a screen and ball thing inside. A similar PCV hose clips onto that too. Throw a part number at em and see.

I looked it up in the owner's manual and there is no part number, so I guess that goes with what I was told.

Nope. I watched him look it up. It was definatey a 2006 F150 5.4L. I even had him look at the 2005 model to see if it was a model year change. Same thing came. When I got back to work, I looked on some Ford parts sites and they didn't show anything for this model and motor.

Check out my signature and you'll see why this isn't a viable option.

The 3v 5.4 uses a heated PCV valve that mounts towards the rear of the intake manifold just below the throttle body on the drivers side.
