The the normally aspirated 5.4L DOHC 32V (or at least the major components) is still in production at the Windsor Plant.
Ford of Australia uses it in 310 bhp, 349 bhp, and 389 bhp versions.

Yes. 4800 rpm at wide open throttle. 5.4L 3V. According to Ford the hp peak is at 4750 rpm but the redline is 5400 rpm. It doesnt feel "done" when the upshift occurs.

That begs the question, do they all do that. I guess I better research.

Update: PCM is programmed to shift under 5000 rpm (maybe my tach is a little slow). Evidently the Torque Converter has a 5400 rpm limit and the 5250 rpm shift point of the 2V may have been a little to close for Ford.
