well its on 02 F-150 5.4. it runs a 16.2 in the 1/4 but he didn't beat me more then maybe a truck and a half. i just have an Intake and Muffler back. and i ordered the spacer, i know it won't do anything, but just for kicks to get that supercharger sound they say they give you. Oh does the Fan Mod make a big differnce

Seriously Buck you have two choices with your truck -

1. A total rebuild with the best machining and parts out there. Like Neals NA Build.(difficult, but possible)

2. Procharger - $5500.00(exspensive , but easy)

Check ebay for new engine take off superchargers. Thats what I did. Can get away with a supercharger and kit from MAD for around $3000. Mad gives you a complete list of the items you need to switch over and offers the kit at a very resonable price.
Ebay Supercharger: Supercharger

Mad's kit: http://www.madenterprise.com/scparts.htm

You would still need the intercooler and hoses- a tune, some of the other stuff he listed as well not included in the price given.

I would budget closer to 4000 to be safe, for that procedure.

I think that's pretty cool tho , I haven't seen Mad enterprizes - didn't know they were out there.

Question is , what are the gains ? After doing that , would that be a lightning replica as far as power?

It looks a hell of lot nicer than a Procharger IMO. You don't NEED a tune with the two core , but you'll want one later.

Personaly I would rather go with the that kit - It's made for the motor and made by Ford.

Thanx for the info..

200 shot should have you ahead if it was really only a length and a half....

but my guess is you will be neck and neck with the 150 or 200 shot.

You can also do things to reduce your race weight that will help, take the tail gate off, spare off etc...
