Lobe separation doesn't tell you anything about how rough the idle will be (lope). Look at the specs on these two wildly different cams....

Duration 252/252
Lift 433/433
Lobe Separation 110

Duration 294/306
Lift 554/558
Lobe Separation 110

The first cam will run a smooth, stock-like idle in a 302. But the second, well, it will lope its damn a$$ off! But, if you noticed, the lobe separation is the same.

So why don't you post the rest of the specs? Crane's site seems down right now or I would look it up myself.

Looks like it would have a very smooth idle. It might have a slight, very slight, hint of roughness due to the longer exh duration, but you probably couldn't tell it wasn't a stock cam.

That cam is much tamer than a stock 5.0 HO (Mustang) Cam.

BTW doesnt the 1991 5.0 EFI have a Hydraulic Roller Cam? I know they went to the Roller Style Block in 1989 but cant remember when they changed the truck cams.
