i have a 2003 F150. the service engine soon light came on and now all of a sudden the truck can't idle......everytime i slow down it starts jerking like it's not getting fuel and then kills. it runs fine as long as i'm moving.

my son had a friend put it on a scanner and the following codes came up:

P1131-manufacturer control fuel air metering
P1151-manufacturer control fuel air metering
P0171-system too lean
P0174-system too lean

can anyone tell me what needs to be done to correct my problem?

 

Change your fuel filter more often.

 

check your IAC, its probably dirty. but, since nobody knows wut you drive, not too much help can be done.
