I left my truck idling outside the local convenience store today and when I came out a couple minutes later the engine was surging..I drove it a bit and stopped and it again and seemed to be ok..Any ideas what would cause this?? I have the 5.4l engine. Thanks.

 

sounds like you i.a.c valve needs a good cleaning.
